It has been six years Fiorella Mannoia’ last studio CD, “Gente Comune” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Fiorella Mannoia. Since Fiorella Mannoia last CD (Gente Comune) on Blue Note Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Song L’altra Madre is actually a funny song. Piccola Piccola is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Il Culo Del Mondo is probably the most interesting track on Gente Comune. Inverno - arguably the best track on Gente Comune album. Giovanna D’arco is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. In Camicie Rosse full palet of sound is used by Fiorella Mannoia to accentuate the presentation. Che Vita Sarai is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This song stands out greatly from the others. Vocals of Fiorella Mannoia in Non Voglio Crescere Piu’ really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
