After seeing Blue Moon, I had to have a good Fausto Papetti cd. Lead single “Blue Moon” and “Live And Let Die” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is the first studio album from Fausto Papetti since bad diagnosis in 1995. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Live And Let Die - Check out that bassline! The opening track I Just Called To Say I Love You is very much like you would expect from other albums. Reggae Night on More Feelings is solid and easy to listen to. A Blue Shadow is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. If You Leave Me Now (3:53) a good melody. Rock Your Baby one of the best in my collection. Rain And Tears - To me, this is the best song on the More Feelings. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. More is one of my favorite songs by Fausto Papetti. I’ll Never Fall In Love Again is a bit of a show-tune. All The Time Of The World good vocals. I like Stayin’ Alive because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. In Song Sung Blue it becomes nowhere more obvious that Fausto Papetti has yet to define own style. Reality make listening to Fausto Papetti like being in some sort of time warp. Song For Guy - I like this one. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
