Now signed to Ethnic - Various Artists’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World” leads Ethnic - Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. Since Ethnic - Various Artists last CD (Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World) on Virgin Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Check it every song is worth the money for the Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World CD!
Shah Kokojan great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Spring Song from Istalif is a marvelous, simple song by Ethnic - Various Artists at the top of his game. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Farkhari Song, Lovesong Form Badakhshan. Charming song, great melody. My Beloved Walks in the Garden, Lovesong from the Mazar Region is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Ghichak Solo the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. After about the third Babolale, Lovesong from Paktia listen through, I began to believe this song is Ethnic - Various Artists’s essence. Simple and heartfelt closing track Yellow Flower, Shepherd Song Form Paktia closes Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World on a high note. Ethnic - Various Artists emotions are reflected through Sarinda Solo. After few listenings I started to like Laila, Lovesong from Logar more and more. Nuristani Dancesong is just simply stunning. Nuristani Women’s Song had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Shah Kokojan is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Afghanistan: A Journey to an Unknown Musical World have ended. Syamui and Jalali, Lovesong Form Herat (7:18) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
