This is the first studio album from Ennio Morricone since bad diagnosis in 1995. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Ennio Morricone has. This disc has all of the essential Ennio Morricone classics. L’uomo Delle Stelle touched my soul like nothing else.
Maciste E I Suoi Fratelli has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Sicilia - A classic Ennio Morricone track. Vocals of Ennio Morricone in Provino really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Some of the arrangements found on L’uomo Delle Stelle are surprisingly edgy. Il Furgone which is my favorite is a truly Ennio Morricone sounding song. Beata is a song to enjoy for years to come. I have all of Ennio Morricone’s tracks and Stardust is probably the most his introspective effort. Ahi Quinto, Ahi Quinto, Ahi Quinto can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Ennio Morricone is all about. Simple and heartfelt closing track Beata E Joe closes L’uomo Delle Stelle on a high note. You have to get essence of the Joe Morelli Scopritore Di Talenti’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Tra Le Stelle - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Ennio Morricone. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Blew our minds when we first heard L’arresto. Voci is one of the more up-tempo songs on L’uomo Delle Stelle. Some call Lomo Delle Stelle from L’uomo Delle Stelle as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen.
