five years ago, Enigma briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Sadeness”. IF YOU LIKE ALL Enigma’S SONG GO FOR IT! This disc has all of the essential Enigma classics. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
I love the melodic melody of Sadeness and to this day it makes me feel good. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Find Love, which shows, blatantly, how much Enigma has evolved as a singer. No Enigma song has come close to capturing my attention as Sadeness (Part II) did. In Callas Went Away full palet of sound is used by Enigma to accentuate the presentation. There is amazing mix of music in Mea Culpa. The Voice And The Snake is a excellent sing-along. Knocking On Forbidden Doors is simple, dignified and effective, Enigma refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Way To Eternity is a medium tempo tune. Musically Hallelujah is superior to other tracks in 1991 Mcmxc (Limited Edition). This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Sadeness (Meditation) I just LOVE this mix! First time I heard Mea Culpa (Fading Shades) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Principles Of Lust - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Only one song from 1991 Mcmxc (Limited Edition) named The Rivers Of Believe (Part II) really got me.
