Duets isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Check it every song is worth the money for the Duets CD!
Gulf Coast Highway is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with If I Needed You. Charming song, great melody. Love Hurts is another strong production from Emmylou Harris. Thing About You as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. That Lovin’ Feelin’ Again is one of my favorite songs by Emmylou Harris. Put We Believe In Happy Endings into car stereo for your highway driving Star Of Bethlehem - A strong beat. All Fall Down presents the cool mix of instruments on Duets. Wild Montana Skies is the albums biggest surprise. Green Pastures is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined.
