There is so much to love about Elend, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. On Lecons De Tenebres album, Elend have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Elend had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lecons De Tenebres is the best essence of Elend.
First time I heard Chanting was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.One listen to the sheer beauty of Into Bottomless Perdition was all I needed. Deploration gets you up and jumping. Music in Infernal Beauty is marvelous as in all tracks of Lecons De Tenebres. Lucifer is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Nice and different song. The Reign Of Chaos and Old Night is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. The Emperor is a striking and quite long song.
