Elektronische Maschine’s debut, ‘Reaktor’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lead single “Tanzen Mit Computer” and “Die Verfurung” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Elektronische Maschine on ‘Tanzen Mit Computer’. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Reaktor.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Die Verfurung because the melody in the chorus is so good. Tanz 86 is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Die Verfolgung is a song to enjoy for years to come. Elektro Tanz is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Put Traum Weiter into car stereo for your highway driving Not Anruf is a excellent song and it grows on you. E-Motion is simply amazing. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Elektronische Maschine. Metal Klange is probably one of Elektronische Maschine’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. E-Maschine the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
