Since completing 1990’s ‘Varios - Radio Mix’, Electronic - Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There were many famous songs of Electronic - Various Artists available. There is no doubt that Electronic - Various Artists has talent. If I may, I suggest “Varios - Radio Mix”. That one song is amazing!
A fantastic track full of wonder. The first time I listened to Mc Cluskey - Maid Of Orleans I was struck by its gorgeous sound. A unique and uplifting song. Zimmer - Theme From - Rainman is just simply stunning. Nova - Aurora make listening to Electronic - Various Artists like being in some sort of time warp. Sakamoto - Forbidden Colours is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. I find myself hearing bits of Dudley-Jeczalik-Langan - Paranoimia here and there throughout my waking hours. Wayne - The Eve Of The War is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. This song stands out greatly from the others. Vocals of Electronic - Various Artists in Vangelis - Dervish D really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Currie-Cross-Cann-Ure - Vienna - To me, this is the best song on the Synthesizer Greatest 2. Hammer - Tubbs And Valerie - a classic song. Vangelis - Spiral - A strong beat. Vangelis - I Ll Find My Way Home sets the tone for the entire album. The song Ravel-Starink - Bolero ending is my favorite… so catchy!
