Jim Jones has compared writing for Electronic - Various Artists’s new album to that on ‘Synthesizer Greatest 1′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is the first studio album from Electronic - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 1990. On Synthesizer Greatest 1 album, Electronic - Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Overall, I would highly recommend Synthesizer Greatest 1 CD.
Dudley-Horn-Jeczalink - Moments In Love is the first taste of the new album. A Parsons - E Woolfson - Mammagamma defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. H Faltermeyer - Axel F is the albums biggest surprise. R Huner - F Schneider - Autobahn - To me, this is the best song on the Synthesizer Greatest 1. Best song on the album, love it. Mc Clusky - Humphries - Electricity - a classic song. Jean Michael Jarre - Equinoxe Part 5 is marvelous and different song. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Vangelis - Hymne is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. J Hammer - Crockett S Theme is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Electronic - Various Artists rocks harder than ever with Jean Michael Jarre - Fourth Rendez Vous. Vangelis - Pulstar is perfect. Jean Michael Jarre - Oxygene is simply cool. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Moroder - Chase is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Synthesizer Greatest 1. M Olfield - Tubular Bells - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites.
