There is so much to love about Eddie and The Hot Rods, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Eddie and The Hot Rods’s new album to that on ‘Curse of the Hot Rods’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Eddie and The Hot Rods’s album Curse of the Hot Rods falls to No. 2 with 515,000, a sales slide of 50%. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
I listened to the opening track I See The Light and liked it a lot. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Wide Eyed Kids. Only one song from Curse of the Hot Rods named I Got Mine really got me. Romance In A Used Car Lot is outstanding work of Eddie and The Hot Rods. You Better Run is Eddie and The Hot Rods’s best work in years. Making The Body Respond To The Brain pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Observations Of The 2nd 2nd Time around is just simply stunning. This song may be the most meaningful. I’ve found myself listening to Act Sharper back to back and back many times. Simple and heartfelt closing track Boxes closes Curse of the Hot Rods on a high note. This track is full of harmonies and gets Curse of the Hot Rods off to a relaxing start.
