Since Double You last CD (We All Need Love) on Blue Note Records back in 1992, I have felt a massive void in my life. One of Double You’s best albums yet.
I like the idea behind Walking On The Chinese Wall. In Drive Double You is at his best. Why one of the best in my collection. Song Who’s Fooling Who is actually a funny song. We All Need Love is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Blew our minds when we first heard Going Back (Live In Venice). It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Looking At My Girl is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. You Are My World - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Charming song, great melody. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Double You must have run out of lyrics on the next track Please Don’t Go (Rhythm Stick Mix).
