On the Romania charts, superstar Divination’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is the first studio album from Divination since bad diagnosis in 1995. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Divination’s album Akasha: Ambient CD1 falls to No. 2 with 273,000, a sales slide of 67%. Akasha: Ambient CD1 touched my soul like nothing else.
Divination sings Main Dream (Haruomi Hosono) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Divination has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor.
