After seeing Over Your Shoulder, I had to have a good Dinosaur Jr. cd. Now signed to Dinosaur Jr.’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Monsters Eat Orpheum” leads Dinosaur Jr.’s back-to-school campaign. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Dinosaur Jr. on ‘Over Your Shoulder’. This is my first Dinosaur Jr. Album and i must say i am blown away.
Little Fury is worth the money. Raisans is perfect song though, very addictive. In Out There full palet of sound is used by Dinosaur Jr. to accentuate the presentation. Repulsion - This one is lively and fun. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Strong, powerful vocals of Dinosaur Jr. in Even You are very impressive. Nice and different song. In Budge the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Hide defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Dinosaur Jr. sings What Else Is in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Vocals of Dinosaur Jr. in Quest really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Sludgefeast is one of the best records ever.
