Since Die Krupps last CD (Rings Of Steel) on EMI Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Die Krupps’s new album to that on ‘Rings Of Steel’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This album has some very good songs like Bloodsuckers (Remix) and To The Hilt (Remix). Enjoy the show.
To The Hilt (Remix) - A strong beat. Crossfire (Remix) is a striking and quite long song. Music and lyrics of Language Of Reality (Remix) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Fatherland (Remix) - I like this one. Worst Case Scenario (Remix) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. After few listenings I started to like Paradise Of Sin (Remix) more and more. Iron Man (Remix) is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Inside Out (Remix) I just LOVE this mix! This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Metal Machine Music is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Shellshocked is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Rings Of Steel. Bloodsuckers (Biohazard Remix) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Language Of Reality is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Worst Case Scenario defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Some of the arrangements found on Rings Of Steel are surprisingly edgy. In New Temptation Die Krupps is at his best.
