Sommersprossen carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. four years ago, Die Flippers briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Sommer Der Erinnerung”. After seeing Sommersprossen, I had to have a good Die Flippers cd. Such great and happy songs.
It’s a great pleasure to listen to Sommer Der Erinnerung from the beginning to the end. Tanz Doch Mit Mir in Den Morgen (3:04) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Strong, powerful vocals of Die Flippers in Adieu Madeleine are very impressive. Adieu Madelaine is almost impossible to review. I listened to the opening track Wann Seh’n Wir Uns Wieder and liked it a lot. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Sommersprossen. In Der Nacht to me is the best you can get from Die Flippers. Mit Dir Ich Geweint the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. The song feels complete. Hallo Pia Tanz Mit Mir is Die Flippers’s best work in years. Liebe Ist Mehr has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Die Flippers’s strong vocals come to the fore. Music and lyrics of Tango creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming.
