It’s natural for Deep Purple to take a stab at ‘Highway Star’ considering her long-professed love for EMF. Since Deep Purple last CD (Come Hell Or High Water) on Columbia Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Come Hell Or High Water carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Check it every song is worth the money for the Come Hell Or High Water CD!
Black Night is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Deep Purple breathes new life into the music in Perfect Strangers. Anyone’s Daugher is simple, dignified and effective, Deep Purple refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. In Child In Time it becomes nowhere more obvious that Deep Purple has yet to define own style. Anya - I like this one. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Smoke On The Water is Deep Purple’s best work in years.
