Self-described as Trip-Hop with lots of words, Dead Can Dance comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. IF YOU LIKE ALL Dead Can Dance’S SONG GO FOR IT! The Hidden Treasures isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Reached From Above - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. In Power We Trust The Love Advocated had me crying as I was able to relate so well. To The Shore - For me, this is the best of the album. Alone is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Listening to Pray For Dawn you can hear that Dead Can Dance has still amazing chemistry with band members. Lartomento make listening to Dead Can Dance like being in some sort of time warp. The Night We Were Lost great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool. The Hidden Treasures couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Lyandra. Isabella is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. The sound of Tune Foe Sheba is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Cyndrill is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. They Don’t Even Cry gives good insight into the truths. A unique and uplifting song. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
