This album has some very good songs like The Arcane and The Children’s Toys. Meditabor isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It has been thirteen years Dead Can Dance’ last studio CD, “Meditabor” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Dead Can Dance offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Advent - Check out that bassline! The Cardinal Sin one is one of the better boring ones. Best song on the album, love it. Cantara is simple, dignified and effective, Dead Can Dance refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. I Am Stretched On Your Grave is one of the coolest songs Dead Can Dance has ever recorded. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Kadath is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Rakim is a bit different from Dead Can Dance stereotypical stuff. Convict Of Sin can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Dead Can Dance is all about. Severance - arguably the best track on Meditabor album. The sound in Dreams Made Flesh is really warm and Dead Can Dance’s signature voice is still very much present. Radharc great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Noctambulist is another strong production from Dead Can Dance. Indoctrination (a Design For L one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Popol Vuh - Nacht Der Himmel is a bit of a show-tune.
