Aion is an amazing album, racked with beauty.There is no doubt that Dead Can Dance has talent. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Dead Can Dance energies, virtually a rebirth. To me Dead Can Dance is the best band ever.
All of songs on Aion and have something to say letting alone Saltarello. Mephisto marked the continuation of Dead Can Dance in style evolution. The Song Of The Sibyl - a classic song. I can’t stop playing Fortune Presents Gifts Not According To The Book. As The Bell Rings The Maypole Spins is a bit different from Dead Can Dance stereotypical stuff. The End Of Words hits the heart. Black Sun is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Wilderness is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. The Promised Womb is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Dead Can Dance. This song is dynamic and dramatic.
