Since David Reeves last CD (Otras 2) on Virgin Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Thom Yorke has compared writing for David Reeves’s new album to that on ‘Otras 2′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. On the India charts, superstar David Reeves’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Yuma - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Under The Radar is simple, dignified and effective, David Reeves refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. David Reeves must have run out of lyrics on the next track Astralbohrer. Undreamt as a highlight of Otras 2 contains a ton of cool melodies. Tremendum pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Plebos is pretty funky and mellow.
