Take 6 is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most (5:30) a good melody. David Benoit breathes new life into the music in Things Are Getting Better. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Letter To Evan is Kathy’s Waltz. There is exquisite mix of music in Knit For Mary F.. Looking Over Eastlake to me is the best you can get from David Benoit. The Island is cool and different song. On Golden Pond can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what David Benoit is all about. Music of Waiting For Love is gentle, never overbearing. Once you hear Letter To Evan, you will listen to it over and over.
