From the moment you listen to Blue Blvd you’re hooked. I love the melodic melody of Brand New Heart and to this day it makes me feel good. Dry River which is my favorite is a truly Dave Alvin sounding song. Gospel Night is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. The sound in Guilty Man is really warm and Dave Alvin’s signature voice is still very much present. Plastic Rose is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Rich Man’s Town - This one is lively and fun. Wanda And Duane - A classic Dave Alvin track. Why Did She Stay With Him is beautiful, yet underrated track. Song Haley’s Comet is actually a funny song.
