While no new Dance - Various Artists album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1992 tour in Africa. When you buy a Dance - Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Dance - Various Artists on ‘Welcome To The Jungle (Robert Stone)’. Such great and happy songs.
Stepping Up (Macho Gang) is one of my favorite songs by Dance - Various Artists. The sound in Black Jack Fever (Rogers, Contini and Sinclair) is really warm and Dance - Various Artists’s signature voice is still very much present. Run Run (Linda Ross) is a very catchy tune. Push Push Balerina (Mario Ross) - A nice song. Fly High (Joe Faster) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Dance - Various Artists’s face. City Lights (K.L.Jones) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Listening to Across The Nite (Jilly) you can hear that Dance - Various Artists has still amazing chemistry with band members. Let’s Spend The Night Together (Groove Twins) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Diamond Eyes (Vanessa) is the song that really did it for me.
