Solitudes: The Nature Of Canada isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Dan Gibson’s Solitudes’s debut, ‘Solitudes: The Nature Of Canada’, does not fit easily into one genre. This disc has all of the essential Dan Gibson’s Solitudes classics. Solitudes: The Nature Of Canada touched my soul like nothing else.
The Territories is one of the best records ever. Alberta very upbeat. Saskatchewan is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. The opening track Ontario is very much like you would expect from other albums. Dan Gibson’s Solitudes sings his heart out in Quebec. I now have The Maritimes as one of my personal favorites. Newfoundland motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others.
