IF YOU LIKE ALL Current 93-HOH’S SONG GO FOR IT! This is the first studio album from Current 93-HOH since bad diagnosis in 1991. It’s natural for Current 93-HOH to take a stab at ‘Falling’ considering her long-professed love for U2. Overall, I would highly recommend Island CD.
The Dream Of A Shadows Of Smoke I just LOVE this mix! I can’t stop humming along Lament For My Suzanne. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Passing Horses presents the amazing mix of instruments on Island. Anyway, People Die sets the tone for the entire album. To Blackened Earth is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Music in Oh Merry-Go-Round is exquisite as in all tracks of Island. Current 93-HOH emotions are reflected through Crowleymass Unveiled. When I listen to Paperback Honey in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Fall Of Christopher Robin is my favorite song on Island. Fields Of Rape And Smoke is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Get Island and turn on Merry-Go-Round And Around if you are going to sip your wine late at night.
