This disc has all of the essential Cranioclast classics. On Koitlaransk and Ration Skalk album, Cranioclast have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is the first studio album from Cranioclast since bad diagnosis in 1994. This album is awesome.
Finale Projektion is probably the most interesting track on Koitlaransk and Ration Skalk. Der Tote Japaner is one of the more up-tempo songs on Koitlaransk and Ration Skalk. Das Gift Des Toten Hundes without a doubt is the standout song of Koitlaransk and Ration Skalk. Korperbemalungen one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Mr.3 Im Versuchsgebiet is a great opener for Koitlaransk and Ration Skalk. Machine Fellatio is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Koitlaransk and Ration Skalk couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Did You Dream Last Night - Sterbelager Rap(S). In L’ete Et La Morte Cranioclast spins a tale you want to hear to the end. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Schlamm Im Auge. Some call Twilight Zone from Koitlaransk and Ration Skalk as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. I like to sing along with The Coming Of The Helicopter, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Das Fossile and Das Digitale is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Eine Mumie Duscht In 12 Einstellungen has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. All of songs on Koitlaransk and Ration Skalk and have something to say letting alone Flugzeug Fressender Garten 1935. As always, Cranioclast’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Nice and different song. This song may be the most meaningful. A fantastic track full of wonder. Sie Liebte Den Geruch Von Stauf, Auf Den Die Ersten Grossen Regentropfen Eines Sommergewitters Gefallen Waren is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Il Prefere La Laque Fraiche Sur Les Voitures Ou La Proximite Des Machines Huileuses is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. I hope to keep hearing Cranioclast works for a long time to come. When I listen to 20.7.1969-23 Degrees 29′ E.Lon.-0 Degrees40′ N.Lat in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. After you’ve listened to Our Coming Out, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Cranioclast has astounded me with this amazing track. Music and lyrics of The Poison Of The Dead Dog creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Cranioclast is one of artists that allow his songs like Naingak! to stand on their own and be heard. Einkleidung Der Braut is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. L’ete Et La Morte-Cancer Dancer is possibly the best song Cranioclast has come up. Once Versteinerte Rufe Des Ikarus gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Final Marriage On The Boulevard - For me, this is the best of the album. I listened to the opening track The Digital Mummy Chuckles and liked it a lot. 13Th Take is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
