It has been four years Coyote Oldman’ last studio CD, “Thunder Chord” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lead single “Ascent” and “Thunder Chord” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This disc has all of the essential Coyote Oldman classics. Thunder Chord constantly brilliant.
One listen to the sheer beauty of Thunder Chord was all I needed. Turtle Island - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Medicine Flute makes a person feel exquisite. Planting is a strong cut, one of many. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Wind Shadows is my favorite song on Thunder Chord. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
