On Compassion album, Coyote Oldman have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Coyote Oldman had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is the first studio album from Coyote Oldman since bad diagnosis in 1993. Compassion constantly brilliant.
Rolling Earth is probably the most interesting track on Compassion. A fantastic track full of wonder. I came to like Belonging. In Dignity Coyote Oldman spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Made of Stars rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. I now have Without Fear as one of my personal favorites. Reverence is the albums biggest surprise. Shelter is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
