It’s natural for Controlled Bleeding to take a stab at ‘Vocal Chant 1′ considering her long-professed love for Army of Lovers. This track is clearly meant to showcase Controlled Bleeding’s vocal abilities. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. After you’ve listened to Headcrack Pt. 1 (music For Four Guitars), most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. The song feels complete. Headcrack Pt. 2 is absolutely incredible. Music For Earth and Water Pt. 3 is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. I can’t stop playing Slithering Blade. Dry Lungs (extended Version) is the first taste of the new album. Vocal Chant 2 is astounding. Album opener Headcrack Pt. 3 (music For Three Guitars) is a bright, upbeat ditty. I have all of Controlled Bleeding’s tracks and Curb Life is probably the most his introspective effort. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
