I am not a real Electronic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Ihre Grossen Erfolge (CD 2)’ really is amazing. After seeing Mein Kleiner Gruener Kaktus, I had to have a good Comedian Harmonists cd. For older fans Ihre Grossen Erfolge (CD 2) will put a massive smile accross your face. Great Electronic right here!
Wochenend Und Sonnenschein is a very catchy tune. Tea For Two have really caught my ear and imagination. Ungarischer Tanz Nr. 5 is one of the more up-tempo songs on Ihre Grossen Erfolge (CD 2). Maskenball Im Gaensestall gives good insight into the truths. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Musically Schoene Lisa is superior to other tracks in Ihre Grossen Erfolge (CD 2). Voice and instruments in Ohne Dich (Stuermisches Wetter) complement each other. Der Alte Cowboy (The Last Round Up) - A classic Comedian Harmonists track. Comedian Harmonists sings Mein Lieber Schatz, Bist Du Aus Spanien in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Tarantella Sincera is excellent work of Comedian Harmonists. Les Gars De La Marine (Das Ist Die Liebe Der Matrosen) - Okay, I just talked about depth. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Although Whispering is very melodic it is far from sad. Listening to Ah Maria, Mari you can hear that Comedian Harmonists has still amazing chemistry with band members. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Ihre Grossen Erfolge (CD 2) is Perpetuum Mobile. Florestan 1er, Prince De Monacco (A.D. Operette “Amusez Vous”) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. You have to get essence of the Menuette’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
