Thom Yorke has compared writing for Coil’s new album to that on ‘Worship The Glitch’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This is the first studio album from Coil since bad diagnosis in 1995. Self-described as Industrial with lots of words, Coil comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Exciting stuff.
You can find feelings on this piece of art. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. The Halliwell Hammers is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. I can’t stop playing Clorax Hurd. Listening to The Halliwell Hammers (2) you can hear that Coil has still amazing chemistry with band members. We Have Always Been Here is one of these floating songs. Manunkind has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Opening track Bism shows the best of Coil. Hydlepark is outstanding work of Coil. Hysteron Proteron Jewel is probably the highlight of the album. Decadent & Symmetrical is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Coil ever produced. Get Worship The Glitch and turn on Mono if you are going to sip your wine late at night. The Halliwell Hammers (3) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Ended is one of the best records ever.
