‘Windowpane’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Coil on ‘Windowpane (Minimal Mix)’. nine years ago, Coil briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Windowpane (12′ Mix)”. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Song Windowpane (12′ Mix) is actually a funny song. Musically Windowpane (Astral Paddington) is superior to other tracks in Windowpane.
