‘Scarlet’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is so much to love about Closterkeller, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. On Scarlet album, Closterkeller have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Closterkeller ever.
I now have California as one of my personal favorites. Tak si boj blu - For me, this is the best of the album. Scarlett one of the best in my collection. nio is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Phantom very upbeat. Owoce wschodu is probably the highlight of the album. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Po to wanie (Norwid) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Scarlet have ended. The first time I listened to Temple of Time I was struck by its exquisite sound. Tak si rodzi nienawi - Check out that bassline! It took me a little time but I ended up loving Brylant. I can’t stop humming along Dla Jej siostry. Voice and instruments in A Ona, Ona complement each other. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Mog tylko patrze - To me, this is the best song on the Scarlet. Chat is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
