Ottone. Re di Germania. isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Now signed to Classical - Various Artists’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Ottone. Re di Germania.” leads Classical - Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Classical - Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. Such great and happy songs.
Act I: Pur che regni il figlio amato (Gismonda) is a exquisite sing-along. As always, Classical - Various Artists’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Act I: La speranza e giunta in porto (Gismonda) is a amazing, simple song by Classical - Various Artists at the top of his game. This song may be the most meaningful. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. This track is a great song that still never gets old. I can’t stop humming along Act I: Falsa imagine (Teofane). This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Act I: Te, che assalir le nostre navi osasti (Ottone, Emireno) - This one is lively and fun. When listening to Act I: Del minacciar del vento (Emireno), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Classical - Various Artists sings Act I: Tutto a piu liete cure (Ottone, Matilda) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Act I: Pitorna, o dolce amore (Ottone) is excellent and different song. First time I heard Act I: Anch’io sperai (Matilda) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Act I: Diresti poi cosi (Matilda) is a strong cut, one of many. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Act I: Pensa ad Amare (Gismonda) - A nice song. The song Act I: Adaelaide, di cui con tanta lode (Teofane, Adalberto, Gismonda) ending is my favorite… so catchy! Act I: Affanni del pensier (Teofane) - I just love it. Act I: Sinfonia (Orchester) which is my favorite is a truly Classical - Various Artists sounding song. Act I: Tu puori straziarmi (Adalberto) is probably the highlight of the album. Act I: E’ di piu mio rival? (Ottone) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. This song stands out greatly from the others. Music of Act II: Lascia, che nel suo viso (Adalberto) is gentle, never overbearing. Act II: Ah! che piu non resisto (Matilda, Gismonda) is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. When I listen to Act II: Ah! tu non sai (Matilda) in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Act II: Ben a ragion Matilda (Gismonda) is a bit of a show-tune. Act II: Vieni, o figlio (Gismonda) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Classical - Various Artists is all about. Act II: Quegli, e certo il mio sposo (Teofane, Ottone, Matilda) is a song to enjoy for years to come. Classical - Various Artists must have run out of lyrics on the next track Act II: All’orror d’un duolo eterno (Matilda). Act II: O illustre Teofane che tal ti scuopre (Ottone, Teofane) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Classical - Various Artists’s strong vocals come to the fore. Act II: Alla fama, dimmi il vero (Teofane) is perfect. Classical - Various Artists rocks harder than ever with Act II: Con gelosi sospetti (Ottone). Act II: Dopo l’orrore (Ottone) is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Act II: O grati orrori, o solitarie piante! (Teofane) very upbeat. Act II: S’io dir potessi (Teofane) is probably one of Classical - Various Artists’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Classical - Various Artists has astounded me with this amazing track. Act II: Odo gente, dell’antro ripigliero (Adalberto, Matilda, Ottone, Teofane) - I like this one. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. From the moment you listen to Act II: Gia d’ogni intorno alto silenzio regna (Emireno, Adalberto, Teofane) you’re hooked. Voice and instruments in Act II: Notte cara, a te si deve (Gismonda, Matilda) complement each other. Act III: Dove sei? dolce mia vita! (Ottone) is a very catchy tune. Act III: Gia t’invola, tiranno (Gismonda, Ottone) have really caught my ear and imagination. Act III: Trema, tiranno (Gismonda) as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. I like to sing along with Act III: Io son tradito (Ottone), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Act III: Tanti affanni (Ottone) is the albums biggest surprise. Act III: Empi! al vostro attentato (Teofane, Adalberto, Emireno) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Act III: Perche in vita tornai? (Teofane, Emireno, Adelberto) gives good insight into the truths. Act III: No, non temere, oh bella! (Emireno) - a classic song. I have all of Classical - Various Artists’s tracks and Act III: Si mi traete, alme malvagie (Teofane) is probably the most his introspective effort. The song feels complete. Classical - Various Artists is one of artists that allow his songs like Act III: Uno de’servi miei (Matilda, Gismonda, Ottone) to stand on their own and be heard. Act III: Nel suo sangue (Matilda) one is one of the better boring ones. Act III: Matilda, arresta il piede (Emireno, Adelberto, Gismonda, Matilda, Ottone) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Act III: A’teneri affetti (Teofane, Ottone) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Act III: Ma qual caso (Ottone, Teofane, Emireno, Adelberto, Gismonda, Matilda) is one of the coolest songs Classical - Various Artists has ever recorded.
