There is no doubt that Classical - Various Artists has talent. On the Italy charts, superstar Classical - Various Artists’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This disc has all of the essential Classical - Various Artists classics. This album is a scorcher!
Don’t judge Act I: Tema il nemico (Arianna) on the first listening. Act I: Viva Augusto eterno impero (Coro) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Classical - Various Artists. Act I: Ah! mio Sovrano Augusto (Amanzio, Anastasio) is astounding. Act I: Vitaliano,il di cui Nom (Polidarte, Arianna, Anastasio) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. There is excellent mix of music in Act I: Un vostro sguardo (Anastasio). Although Act I: Arianna, che pensi? is very melodic it is far from sad. Act I: Da tuori begl’occhi impara (Arianna) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Classical - Various Artists ever produced. In Act I: Puo ben nascere tra Li Boschi (Giustino) Classical - Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Classical - Various Artists offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Act I: Corri, vola, a’tuoi Trofei / Giustin, lascia i riposi (Fortuna) is another favourite of mine. This is one hell of a track. Music in Act I: Chi mi chiama alla gloria? (Giustino) is cool as in all tracks of Giustino. I love the melodic melody of Act I: Se parla nel mio cor (Giustino) and to this day it makes me feel good. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Act I: Cieli! Numi soccorso! (Leocasta, Giustino). In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Classical - Various Artists. Act I: Oh! eterni Numi! (Leocasta, Giustino) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Giustino have ended. Still going through Giustino and coming to appreciate Act I: Nacque al bosco (Leocasta) more and more with every listen. Act I: Amanzio! (Arianna, Amanzio) gives taste of what makes Classical - Various Artists special as a musician. The opening track Act I: E Virture insin la frode (Amanzio) is very much like you would expect from other albums. Act I: Leggo nel tuo sembiante (Anastasio, Giustino) is a very catchy tune. Act I: Allor ch’io forte avro (Giustino) - arguably the best track on Giustino album. Listening to Act I: Sia fausta ognor la sorte (Anastasio) you can hear that Classical - Various Artists has still amazing chemistry with band members. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Giustino is Act I: Non si vanti un’alma audace (Anastasio). It’s a great pleasure to listen to Act I: All’armi, o Guerrieri (Vitaliano) from the beginning to the end. I can’t stop humming along Act I: Signor, ti arrise il Fato (Polidarte, Vitaliano, Arianna). Get Giustino and turn on Act I: Vanne si, superba va (Vitaliano) if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Classical - Various Artists has astounded me with this amazing track. I came to like Act I: Mio dolce amato Sposo (Arianna). Act II: Sinfonia (Orchester) is one of the best records ever. Act II: A Dispetto dell’Onde (Giustino, Anastasio) - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Act II: Questa e la cruda Spiaggia (Polidarte, Arianna) makes a person feel exquisite. Act II: Ritrosa belezza (Polidarte) still maintains something of a specific flourish. Act II: Numi! che’l Ciel regette (Arianna, Giustino, Eco I & II) has a fun tempo. Some call Act II: Sinfonia (Orchester) from Giustino as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Act II: Respiro (Arianna, Giustino, Anastasio) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Act II: Mio bel tesoro! (Arianna, Anastasio) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. I can’t stop playing Act II: Ma quale orrido Mostro (Anastasio, Giustino, Arianna, Amanzio). In Act II: Per Voi soave e bella (Coro) you won’t find any flashy solos. Act II: Troppo fosti, o mio core (Vitaliano) (0:35) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Act II: Ah! quai crudeli pene (Leocasta) hits the heart. Simple and heartfelt closing track Act II: Sventurata Navicella (Leocasta) closes Giustino on a high note. I have all of Classical - Various Artists’s tracks and Act II: Verdi Lauri, cingetemi il crine (Anastasio) is probably the most his introspective effort. Act II: Vieni, barbaro (Giustino, Vitaliano, Anastasio, Amanzio) is outstanding work of Classical - Various Artists. Act II: Sull’Altar di questo Nume (Giustino) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Giustino. I now have Act II: Gia il valor di Giustino ha vinto (Arianna, Vitaliano) as one of my personal favorites. Act II: Quel Torrente che s’innalza (Arianna) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. No Classical - Various Artists song has come close to capturing my attention as Act III: Sinfonia (Orchester) did. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. The sound of Act III: Signor’a'tuoi Trionfi (Amanzio, Anastasio) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Act III: O fiero e rio sospetto (Anastasio) - A classic Classical - Various Artists track. Act III: Generoso Giustino (Arianna, Giustino, Amanzio) - a classic song. Act III: Zeffiretto, che scorre nel prato (Giustino) to me is the best you can get from Classical - Various Artists. Act III: E fia ver, che infedele (Anastasio, Amanzio, Arianna, Giustino, Leocasta) is a very catchy tune. Act III: Di Re sdegnato (Anastasio) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. If you are a Classical - Various Artists fan, you will love Act III: Giustino, anima mia! (Leocasta). Once you hear Act III: Augeletti garruletti (Leocasta), you will listen to it over and over. Act III: Riusci il bel disegno (Amanzio) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Classical - Various Artists’s face. Act III: Dall’occaso in oriente (Amanzio) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. A great put together song. Act III: Trattien l’acciar (Voce di Dentro) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Act III: Qual voce ascolto? (Vitaliano, Giustino) is nothing but pure genius. You have to get essence of the Act III: Sollevar’il mondo oppresso (Giustino)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Act III: Or che cinto ho il crin d’alloro (Amanzio) is absolutely incredible. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This track is a great song that still never gets old. This song may be the most meaningful. Act III: Signor, se vile intercessor (Giustino, Anastasio, Vitaliano) is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly.
