one years ago, Classical - Various Artists briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Handel / Largo From “Xerxes”". Lead single “Grieg / “Peer Gynt” Suite - Morning Song” and “Handel / Largo From “Xerxes”" start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is the first studio album from Classical - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 1993. Great Classical right here!
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Mozart / Piano Concerto No. 20 - Romance is a striking and quite long song. In Tchaikovsky / “The Nutcracker” Suite - Arabian Dance the music gets its power. Ravel / Pavan as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Debussy / Prelude To “The Afternoon Of A Faun” is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Adam / Giselle - Adagio; Waltz is a very catchy tune. Saint-Saens / The Carnival Of The Animals - The Swan - another great track from the Classics For Lovers - CD3 album. Mozart / Eine Kleine Nachtmusik - Romanze: Andante is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Offenbach / The Tales Of Hoffman - Barcarolle is possibly the best song Classical - Various Artists has come up. Mascagni / Cavalleria Rusticna - Intermezzo is the more seemingly obscure song on Classics For Lovers - CD3 that bear up best to repeated listening. I like the idea behind Ravel / Daphnis and Chloe.
