Lead single “Croi Croga” and “Seanchas” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Lore’ really is amazing. There is so much to love about Clannad, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album is in perfect progression from Clannad!
After few listenings I started to like Seanchas more and more. I like A Bridge because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Charming song, great melody. Alasdair Maccolla is probably the most interesting track on Lore. Song Broken Pieces is actually a funny song. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. A fantastic track full of wonder. Dealramh Go Deo is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This song stands out greatly from the others. Fonn Mharta - Clannad first major hit.
