Clan Of Xymox was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Clan Of Xymox and Medusa together. There is no doubt that Clan Of Xymox has talent. Thom Yorke has compared writing for Clan Of Xymox’s new album to that on ‘Medusa’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is After the call
After the call - A classic Clan Of Xymox track. Back door is a medium tempo tune. Agnoised by love - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. The opening track Louise is very much like you would expect from other albums. Lorrentine is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Theme 2 is my favorite song on Medusa. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Strong, powerful vocals of Clan Of Xymox in Theme 1 are very impressive. Medusa the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
