It has been eleven years Chumbawamba’ last studio CD, “Shhh” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Shhh couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Big Mouth Strikes Again. Opening track Nothing That’s New shows the best of Chumbawamba. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Chumbawamba. Snip Snip Snip is worth the money. Look! No Strings! is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Happiness Is Just A Chant Away. Pop Star Kidnap one is one of the better boring ones. Chumbawamba sings his heart out in Sometimes Plunder. You Can’t Trust Anyone Nowadays is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Stitch That is a cool sing-along.
