After debuting at No. 1 last week, Christopher Franke’s album New Music For Films, Vol. 1 falls to No. 2 with 512,000, a sales slide of 65%. ‘New Music For Films, Vol. 1′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Self-described as Soundtrack with lots of words, Christopher Franke comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Great Soundtrack right here!
Big Country is probably one of Christopher Franke’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. There is excellent mix of music in Dramatic Ride. What sets The Run apart is Christopher Franke’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Some of the arrangements found on New Music For Films, Vol. 1 are surprisingly edgy. Memories Of Maria has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. The Attack is just simply stunning. Will He Return actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Christopher Franke’s face. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Strong, powerful vocals of Christopher Franke in The Battle Begins are very impressive. The Victory is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Hidden Tears as a highlight of New Music For Films, Vol. 1 contains a ton of astounding melodies. The Fight is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Romance Become Pain is astounding. The Battle Continues is one of my favorite songs by Christopher Franke. This song may be the most meaningful. Lurking Shadow gives good insight into the truths. The Shock is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. In Dream Sequence the music gets its power. Christopher Franke is hitting on all cylinders in Doomed. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Quiet Ocean-Reprise hits the heart. Within the first few notes of Creepy it’s perfectly clear that Christopher Franke is living this song. I hope to keep hearing Christopher Franke works for a long time to come.
