I now have High Water Everywhere, Pt. 2 as one of my personal favorites. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Strong, powerful vocals of Charley Patton in Bird Nest Bound are very impressive. Founder of the Delta Blues couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track High Sheriff Blues. A Spoonful Blues has a fun tempo. Some of These Days catches attention immediately, Music in Mississippi Boweavil Blues is gorgeous as in all tracks of Founder of the Delta Blues. Tom Rushen Blues is pretty funky and mellow. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Founder of the Delta Blues is 34 Blues. Going to Move to Alabama is absolutely incredible. This track is full of harmonies and gets Founder of the Delta Blues off to a relaxing start. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. When Your Way Get Dark - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Devil Sent the Rain Blues is my favorite song on Founder of the Delta Blues. Only one song from Founder of the Delta Blues named Screamin’ and Hollerin’ the Blues really got me. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. It Won’t Be Long very upbeat. So much energy, so exciting a sound.The song Magnolia Blues ending is my favorite… so catchy! Dry Well Blues is really the reason why I recommend buying Founder of the Delta Blues. High Water Everywhere, Pt. 1 - Charley Patton first major hit.
