This is the first studio album from Carole King since bad diagnosis in 1994. Carole King’s debut, ‘Thoroughbred’, does not fit easily into one genre. On Thoroughbred album, Carole King have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Daughter of Light - A strong beat. High Out of Time is a song to enjoy for years to come. I came to like It’s Gonna Work Out Fine. I’d Like to Know You Better is one of the coolest songs Carole King has ever recorded. I now have Only Love Is Real as one of my personal favorites. So Many Ways gives taste of what makes Carole King special as a musician. Once There’s a Space Between Us gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. We All Have to Be Alone is exquisite and different song. Still Here Thinking of You (3:12) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
