Since Capricorn last CD (Inferno) on Columbia Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 1995’s ‘Iced Age’, Capricorn fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Inferno carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Such great and happy songs.
First time I heard Claws Of The Mad was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. The Wire Fence - My least favorite song on this album. I listened to the opening track Dead Can Walk and liked it a lot. Moonstruck to me is the best you can get from Capricorn. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Gun For Hire as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. A Call For Defiance is one of these floating songs. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Camp Blood is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Inferno has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Capricorn’s strong vocals come to the fore.
