After debuting at No. 1 last week, Capercaillie’s album Ailein Duinn falls to No. 2 with 256,000, a sales slide of 60%. Self-described as Celtic with lots of words, Capercaillie comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Capercaillie was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Capercaillie and Ailein Duinn together. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Ailein Duinn.
The Laurel House Theme is the more seemingly obscure song on Ailein Duinn that bear up best to repeated listening. In Gaelic Psalm Theme you won’t find any flashy solos. Dark Alan (Ailein Duinn) - I just love it.
