Lead single “Get It Over Baby” and “Call Me” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After seeing Get It Over Baby, I had to have a good Candye Kane cd. Knockout is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Overall, I would highly recommend Knockout CD.
Call Me is a exquisite song and it grows on you. I like Sharktown because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Blues I Feel for You stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Watching the River Flow is a strong cut, one of many. There’s Nobody Home is astounding. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. We Can Love one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Cheek to Cheek is my favorite song on Knockout. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. I’m on a Bender is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Candye Kane ever produced.
