‘Cardiac Arrest’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is so much to love about Cameo, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Cameo energies, virtually a rebirth. Overall, I would highly recommend Cardiac Arrest CD.
Post Mortem is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Smile is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Cameo rocks harder than ever with Funk, Funk. Charming song, great melody. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Good Times is the more seemingly obscure song on Cardiac Arrest that bear up best to repeated listening. Stay By My Side (4:25) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
