After debuting at No. 1 last week, Cafe Del Mar’s album Ibiza-Volumen 02 falls to No. 2 with 375,000, a sales slide of 73%. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Cafe Del Mar’s new album to that on ‘Ibiza-Volumen 02′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Ibiza-Volumen 02 is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Tarenah (Chill Mix; Psychedelic Research Lab) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. It took me a little time but I ended up loving D’Votion (D’Note). Easter Song (A Man Called Adam with Eddie Parker) - Check out that bassline! Entre Dos Aguas (Paco De Lucia) (6:01) a good melody. Unity (Marc Antoine) without a doubt is the standout song of Ibiza-Volumen 02. Sabor De Verano (The Way Out West Mix; Jose Padilla) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Listening to Sargasso Sea (Salt Tank) you can hear that Cafe Del Mar has still amazing chemistry with band members. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Lyrics of Everyboy Loves The Sunshine (Ramp) are precise and evocative. I like to sing along with Feel good (Deadbeats), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Blinky Blue Eyed Sunrise (The Metaluna Mutant) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Cafe Del Mar is all about. I have all of Cafe Del Mar’s tracks and Haunted Dancehall (Sabres of Paradise) is probably the most his introspective effort.
