This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Burning Heads has. On the Iceland charts, superstar Burning Heads’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This album has some very good songs like Reaction and Few Words. I wish that “Dive” album was instrumental.
This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Help is a very catchy tune. This track is clearly meant to showcase Burning Heads’s vocal abilities. Bad Trip is marvelous and different song. Queen America is so unique, as each one of the songs is. When listening to I Don’t Like Your Party, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Dance Of The Ghosts is possibly the best song Burning Heads has come up. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Mr. White, which shows, blatantly, how much Burning Heads has evolved as a singer. After you’ve listened to Don’t Wait For Me, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Xtra Stwrong which is my favorite is a truly Burning Heads sounding song. Promises make listening to Burning Heads like being in some sort of time warp.
