This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Buddy Guy has. After seeing Damn Right, I’ve Got The Blues, I had to have a good Buddy Guy cd. There is no doubt that Buddy Guy has talent. Overall, I would highly recommend Damn Right, I’ve Got The Blues CD.
This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Five Long Years is my favorite song on Damn Right, I’ve Got The Blues. Mustang Sally - This one makes me want to not only sing along. There Is Something On Your Mind good vocals. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Too Broke To Spend The Night is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Black Night - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Let Me Love You Baby - A nice song. Rememberin’ Stevie is one of the more up-tempo songs on Damn Right, I’ve Got The Blues.
